"Gensokyo was very peaceful until the darkness came to the sky realm Reimu looked upon it with fear in her eyes but knows something to stop it she threw a fireball and the shadows but Sakuya controlled water and all of it's grace Marisa controls earth and nature itself Sanae controls the winds and even the sky and Yukari who wields the light  can always create a border of eternal light but the five girls jumped into the portal into the future were Reimu had the vison from her dream but they will protect Gensokyos future."
